1968 Norm's Dodge Dart
This model recieved the "Best of Show" award at the spring 2005 Hobby Town USA model contest. It took about 4 months to complete. Has full engine detail (ie- ignition wires, battery wires, dip stick, throttle linkage, and more). Also visible in some photos are the valve stems I added, aswell as the antenna. |

This is Tamiya's Honda RC211 V
This kit was built essentially box stock. This was my first attempt at building a motorcycle. I am very happy with the results. It took "Best of Class" at teh same model contest as the Dodge Dart. I used a ton of paint detail work to bring out the details without having to do an excessive amount of work (ie- heat weathering on pipes, black washes in recessed areas, and use of different shades of grays and blacks to add shadows. |
Again, the RC211 V

All the hard worked pays in the end!
This is a picture of teh Dodge Dart and the RC211 V next to one another. The "Best of Show" plaque is displayed behind them. Not pictured is my mini cooper that took second place in its class (last year it took third!!). Picture of the Mini is on photo page 4. |
