These are some Astro-photos that I have taken

The Moon

This is my very first attempt at unguided eye piece projection

Transit of Venus

Photographed through a 5" tasco reflector with 20mm Bascha and Lomb eyepiece

A more recent attempt at the Moon!
This image was taken using an Astro Physics 10" Apochromatic refractor at prime focus (f/12).  The film used was Kodak Gold 200.  Scope location: Sherzer Observatory at E.M.U.
M31 "Andromeda Galaxy"

M31 is about 2.2 million light years away and still looks awesome!  Taken with 8" newtonian at f/4.9 with canon digital rebel camera at prime focus.

MIDNIGHT SPECIAL!!
This is a time exposure of about a hour and 15 min. of the sky. It was taken near Houghton Lake, MI at around midnight.

The straight Vertical line in the image is a satelite that passed through the field of view during the exposure.

M42 "The Orion Nebula"

I imaged this with an Astro Physics 10" Apochromatic refractor at Sherzer Observatory at Eastern Michigan University.  Image was a 15min. exposure on kodak gold 200 film(35mm).  No guiding was performed during the process!
